THE SCOPE OF OUR MISSION

Medical.png

Medical Clinic
During all of CFSA’s medical clinics, medical teams assess patients’ needs and dispense OTC meds as needed. We do not treat chronic illnesses, referring people to see a doctor when long-term medicines are needed and/or when we encounter something beyond our scope of knowledge.

ESL
CFSA uses Kinder Jam to teach ESL classes. Kinder Jam is a high energy program that uses music and movement to introduce basic English phrases, the alphabet and listening skills. Everyone loves the program...adults included!... It is a huge hit and something ‘fun’ after a day of intense clinic work.

Good Samaritan
Aid
We paint, repair furniture, provide new window treatments, lighting and floor coverings, in short, whatever it takes to complete the project. We also prepare food and serve in soup kitchens.

Christian-Love.png

Christian Love
In all of our missions, it is our joy and duty to show Christ’s love to everyone we meet and serve. We are blessed to do this through our clinic work, our ESL work and also our ‘friendship’ work. Giving a hug, a gentle touch, a listening ear, are all simple yet effective ways to pass on the truth that Christ lives in our hearts and that we want to share Him with others. We are gifted with the treasure of God’s Word and the work of freely sharing it with others.

Our MINISTRY TRIPS

We have seen 9,400 patients…and counting!…across 5 countries. We are working to maintain our connection in Eastern Europe, and we are also beginning new ventures in Southeast Asia. The Lord is helping us meet our goals despite the devastating effects of COVID. Borders are once again open, and volunteers are answering the call to serve. Stay tuned for new updates!

more TO COME

We completed our project with the YMCA in Chiang Rai. Meetings took place for work in the Mae Suai District and also in Mae Sai. Blessedly, we completed our first trip in those locations in 2023 and we are going back! Lord willing, connections for future work will continually be made. COVID put a halt to many projects, but always stay tuned! God in His grace and mercy is keeping doors open, and with Him leading our work,
there will be lots more to come!!
October 30 - November 13, 2024 will see CFSA in Thailand.

KEEPING ROMANIA IN OUR PRAYERS

We have led several humanitarian ministry projects to Oradea, Romania, remodeling, restoring, and preparing school facilities at a Christian school there. Our ministry there is geared for manual laborers.
In 2020 a private donor came forward with a donation specifically for our Romanian friends. We were so grateful for that generosity and show of compassion! We are praying for future opportunities for teams to once again experience the joy of working in Romania. Until we are able to return, if you are moved to do so, please consider a donation for them. Thank you for your compassion and support!

August 2018

We led a humanitarian ministry in Oradea, Romania, remodeling, restoring, and preparing school facilities for the year ahead. This ministry was a manual laborer's dream!

Government regulations cause the majority of our time in Romania to be spent outside the medical realm. We were, however, given the opportunity to meet the administration staff at the city hospital. We had a small tour of certain wards and gained valuable information from the doctors there. To show our seriousness of helping in any manner that they desired, we completed the task of painting in certain areas of the hospital, and were thrilled to do so! We don't know how the Lord will lead us, medically, in Romania, but we are thankful to Him for the opportunity He gave. We will trust Him to make the next opportunity as purposeful as the first.
